Chef Dom a.k.a. The MangoMonkey is a Food & Travel Writer submitting his work to API, AFP, Bangkok Post and various print, TV and Web news services.
Chef Dom has first hand knowledge as a Chef, Restaurateur, Cook Book Author of his newest book "The Golden Triangle of Thai Cuisine" and has traveled to most of the world's continents searching for the best in Food, Travel and Lifestyles worldwide.
His articles are not just about food, but the people, culture, history and science. Chef Dom's articles are shared from his personal view of the 'experience'.
Chef Dom's nickname MangoMonkey was given while trying to think up a new brand name for his new food products and restaurant theme.
While words Mango and Monkey are both associated with Thailand which is presently home of one of his farvorite cuisines, it was sealed when a friend pointed during a food discussion focus group of several friends and colleagues whenever Chef Dom gets a little passionate and excited about a new recipe or food item he likes he often makes an "ooh!, ooh!, ooh!" sound. When the laughter and nodding heads of agreement stopped, name stuck and is now the Brand logo of MangoMonkey Foods company. The rest is history!

Originally from the East Coast, Mr. Cameron gave up the land of shopping malls and 24 hour diners in New Jersey 5 years ago to attend USC's highly touted School of Cinema-Television (yes, he is a Trojan) and Graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. Cinema-Television. After studying the great directors, film/TV genre, and popular cinematic theory, it only confirmed his aspirations to one day, become a part of it. His ‘Hollywood’ career began while still at USC taking on part-time and internships working for several of the most prominent entertainment companies in the Southern California area including Revelations Entertainment, NBC Universal, and ABC Daytime's "All My Children." Recently Mr. Cameron was brought back onboard NBC Universal to work on several projects.
When not at NBC, Mr. Cameron with Discovered Media & Publications as our Producer of Media Content, handling all aspects of Discovered Media’s video and news feed business. He also is a regular contributor as a Journalist for Discovered Media & Publications where he covers Travel & Sporting events.
Additionally, Mr. Cameron is on the Board of Directors of ‘The Global Initiative for Humanity & Environment’ www.GlobalInitiativeforHumanity.org,
a global non-profit organization dedicated to re-connecting you and all humanity to the other 6.8 billion people of planet Earth for the common good in resolving the challenges we all face in Humanity, Ecological, Education, Energy, Environmental and quality of life.
